FeedMatch Day at UMDNJ

On Friday, March 16, “Match Day” ceremonies began at 11:30 a.m. on UMDNJ’s Newark, Camden, New Brunswick and Stratford campuses. During this emotionally charged event, the UMDNJ students were handed the thin sealed envelopes that contained the names of the medical centers where they have “matched” for their first jobs as physicians. All eyes were on the clocks that tick off the final minutes until noon, when these soon-to-be physicians, along with thousands of other medical students across the country, simultaneously open the envelopes to reveal where they will be spending the next several years of their lives as medical interns and residents.
