My name is Janice Nebus and I am the older half of the Mother/Daughter Makeover. When I arrived at my daughter’s house last Thursday, she had the most spectacular smile on her face at which time she had informed me that “we” had won the makeover of a lifetime. We couldn’t have been happier—especially me since I REALLY need a makeover. My daughter, of course, is PERFECT just the way she is! (Any mother would say the same!)
Since finding out, we had our first photo shoot last Friday, which I might add, we laughed through. We both had such a great time. The photographer was terrific—so sweet and thoughtful. Of course, I wasn’t too thrilled to get MY picture taken, since I don’t like the way I look in pictures. But it was a great way to begin this journey with Kara.
On Tuesday evening, I spoke with the hypnotist Kathy Lindert, who seemed extremely positive. She informed me that we will be working together to figure out “why” I do the things I do—such as eating too much, exercising too little and just being “down” on myself. Hopefully this will help me to become a much “better me”.
I visited the Urban Muse on Wednesday and had the most relaxing facial and massage imaginable. Denise was incredibly personable and I would recommend her to everyone. Upon leaving, I got another delightful surprise when she sent me home with wonderful products to cleanse and soothe my face and body.
If this is an indication of what the next five months are going to be like, let the fun begin!
